Team / Department: BBC TV Licensing (BBC TVL) Client Partnership

Reporting to: Senior Account Director

Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Duration: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

THE ROLE

As Account Director you will play a key role in our direct & digital marketing activity. Youll be reporting into an experienced Senior Account Director & working within a Client Partnership team of 14.

The Opportunity

  • Youll get to work on one of the biggest accounts in the agency & still growing with a 45-strong team (including Client Partnership, Strategic Planning, Project Managers, Data Planning, Analytics & Service Delivery). 
  • TVL is a highly strategic & varied account, as we communicate with every household in the UK across multiple channels. Part of its uniqueness is that the BBC has outsourced its whole Marketing function to RAPP. So, not only do we get to lead the Marketing objectives & strategy that drive real behaviour change. But we also manage the implementation of that strategy all the way through to selecting the data to target, delivering the creative (across multiple channels) & analysing performance.
  • Youll get to work closely with senior clients at BBC TVL & our talented team of experts & SMEs at RAPP. We have had the account since 2002 & the client satisfaction scores have consistently been among the highest in the agency.
  • Data, insights & performance are at the heart of what we do, & youll be working as part of our team on our direct marketing campaigns, developing customer insight driven creative that is engaging & effective.
  • Youll be taking the lead on key projects: Working with the wider team of stakeholders, data planners, planners, analysts, & the account team to define & scope projects, through to successful delivery of the final campaign.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a similar Account Director role with direct & digital CRM campaigns, across a range of channels, but particularly Email & DM
  • Passionate about data & comfortable working with strategy, data planners & other data teams to deliver exceptional work, that works
  • Strong strategic & delivery skills
  • Proven experience of building positive relationships with clients, different departments, & 3rd parties
  • Excited to deliver dynamic creative work & able to harness our internal talent to optimise creative & design
  • Strategic in approach & understands the need for insights & the importance of a killer creative brief
  • Driven with a natural curiosity to learn, build knowledge & lead teams to deliver responsive & hardworking campaigns 
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills & attention to detail
