The Marketing & Communications team at Mapbox is responsible for shaping the company's public image & promoting its cutting-edge location technology solutions. Through building strategic campaigns, high-quality content, & excellent documentation, the team effectively communicates Mapbox value to customers, prospects, developers, partners, & stakeholders. Our goal is to highlight product features, share customer success stories, & build brand awareness, showcasing Mapbox as the leading location technology company.

What You'll Do

As the Marketing Operations & Analytics Lead, youll work closely with the Customer Engagement, Enterprise Applications, & Marketing team & take ownership of the marketing technology stack to help improve & optimize campaign performance. You will help us build, measure, optimize & scale our marketing programs to drive growth. Youll be responsible for measuring & evaluating marketing performance, supporting demand generation & integrated marketing campaigns, informing strategic planning & budgeting, & enhancing overall marketing process, technology, & workflow.

  • Process Management; identify, design, & document scalable processes that enable the marketing team to be more effective in their daily work & drive alignment within the department.
  • Goal Setting; develop measurement plans that contain benchmarks & goals for each upcoming program or campaign.
  • Performance Measurement; monitor performance, develop insights, make recommendations & implement optimizations across MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, content, channels, & campaigns. Iterate implementations on a continuous basis.
  • Campaign Management; serve as the marketing project manager for integrated campaigns from inception through execution & measurement.
  • Infrastructure; own, maintain & improve our marketing tech stack. Work with internal teams to manage the health of our database & our lead management process.
  • Segmentation; manage list segmentation & scoring to deliver more targeted & relevant messaging to improve engagement & ultimately conversion of prospects.
  • Lead Management; support marketing & sales revenue goals by maintaining our lead management process, including lead lifecycle, lead scoring, & sales alerts.
  • Data Management; work closely with internal teams to ensure data is syncing seamlessly across systems for accurate & up-to-date attribution, lead management, & reporting.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

  • B2B Tech marketing experience with at least 5+ years of admin experience in Marketo & strong experience with Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights & intelligence from marketing data.
  • Ability to understand, assess, & implement lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalisation, & other lead/customer management practices.
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, & attribution.
  • Demonstrated experience owning & running the governance of a large marketing automation platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, & a desire to improve processes.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR regulations.
  • Strong analytical background & who is comfortable jumping into web analytics, CRM tools, SQL, Google Sheets/Excel, & go-to-market systems.

Our annual base compensation for this role ranges from $123,250 - $166,750 for most US locations & 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor. Job level & actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills & prior relevant experience, potential impact, & scope of role), market demands, & specific work location.
