About the Role
iCapital is looking for an Advisor Engagement Specialist to join the iCapital Marketplace team. This individual will play a crucial role in expanding the iCapital Marketplace's presence in the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) & Single-Family Office (SFO) channel. This role will actively identify, cultivate, & manage relationships with advisors, highlight the platform's features, assist with user registrations, ensure seamless onboarding experiences, & collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve platform expansion objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identify & cultivate relationships proactively with advisors to expand the iCapital Marketplace's advisor base within the RIA & SFO channel.
- Showcase the features & capabilities of the iCapital platform to advisors, emphasizing new tools & functionalities that can help enhance their business.
- Manage & oversee user registrations on the iCapital Marketplace, provide support, guidance, & troubleshoot assistance as needed.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for Wealth Advisors, which includes conducting introductory calls, organizing platform demonstrations, & addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop targeted campaigns aimed at boosting user engagement & adoption on the Marketplace.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including GP Relationship Managers, Investor Relations, & Sales Support, to ensure a positive client experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, & market developments within the RIA & SFO space, to enhance the iCapital Marketplace's competitive position.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience in a client-facing role within the financial services industry, preferably working with RIAs or SFOs
- Strong understanding of investment products, alternative investments, & wealth management solutions
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to build & maintain relationships with advisors & internal stakeholders
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, & manage multiple projects simultaneously
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $140,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
