What Youll Do:
- Maintain the venue & its facilities in excellent condition & ensure all meeting room & public area are set to Company standards.
- Ensure that the venue complies with all aspect of Health & Safety & that all staff are trained to the minimum legal requirement.
- Provide professional, friendly, & proactive customer service in a customer-focused, standards-driven role.
Facilities & Operations:
- Perform routine housekeeping duties.
- Service, clean, & supply restrooms.
- Clean, collect, & remove rubbish & trash throughout the venue.
- Perform routine cleaning services such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, & polishing glass throughout the venue, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, & stairways.
- Ensure security procedures are adhered to, particularly concerning closing the venue each day.
- Service & tidy all meeting rooms at break times, including lunch.
- Implement a deep cleaning schedule & carry out quality checks.
- Maintain a stock control system for cleaning supplies.
- Undertake any additional tasks that senior management deems appropriate, such as helping with the dish pit if needed.
- Support the Conference Service Manager, ensuring meeting rooms meet high standards for all events.
- Ensure effective communication between all departments regarding client services.
- Participate in daily & weekly rota meetings.
Health & Safety:
- Represent the venue as a health & safety officer/fire officer, ensuring mandatory checks, fire alarm tests, & evacuation drills are carried out per safety regulations.
- Participate in monthly health & safety meetings.
General:
- Be available for staff briefings & company events, including attendance at the company.
- Be available for weekend work when necessary.
- Undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the venue team.
