YOUR ROLE:

The ideal candidate has a proven track record exemplifying core competencies expected of an Account Director & possesses the confidence to lead in a digital-first, data-centric manner. Serving as a trusted advisor & collaborative partner, they engage with clients at senior managerial & marketing/category directorial levels. Their adeptness lies in managing multi-disciplinary projects for clients across various sectors, navigating seamlessly through agency matrices, cross-holding company partnerships, & external agency collaborations. Driven by a natural curiosity & a relentless pursuit of excellence, they consistently deliver outstanding results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the clients business dynamics, strategies, & industry drivers across various channels.
  • Serving as a liaison between multiple internal & external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration throughout the business, while monitoring, projecting, & offering innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
  • Exhibiting accountability for agency performance & effectively managing financial & commercial aspects of the business.
  • Navigating both the Agency & client matrices adeptly.
  • Managing complex, multi-channel campaigns across different stages of the funnel & customer journey.
  • Managing the intricacies of initiatives or campaigns within the broader business context.
  • Facilitating the development of project briefs in collaboration with strategic planners & analysts.
  • Managing client expectations, objectives, timelines, & budgets effectively.
  • Providing guidance to team members in evaluating ideas & directions.
  • Shepherding ideas from development to presentation to execution, both for oneself & others.
  • Leading an integrated agency model to ensure alignment & collaborative work towards shared goals among agency teams.
  • Steering internal & partner teams to deliver integrated solutions from strategy & concept to execution, while representing client interests adequately.
  • Fostering growth, inspiration, & career development plans for direct reports & junior staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 8-10 years of account management experience is necessary, particularly with a focus on digital & CRM.
  • Strong mid to senior-level client experience is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex client organizations effectively.
  • A proven track record of exceptional business leadership skills is required.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, both in client interactions & internal processes, is crucial. Demonstrating flexibility & creative problem-solving abilities is a must.
  • Must exhibit strong teamwork skills, maintaining a friendly & cooperative demeanor.
  • Should demonstrate adeptness in managing various personalities, both within the team & when interacting with clients.
  • Experience in communications planning is essential, with a capability to articulate strategic recommendations effectively, including successful client engagements.
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Effective & proactive collaboration within a geographically dispersed team environment is a must.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to identify & nurture junior talent effectively.
  • Automotive experience preferred, ideally with exposure to Tier 2 & Tier 3/dealer-level program activation & support.
  • A concentration in Fixed Ops/Retention Marketing is a plus.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections & collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Dallas & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
