The role

At HelloFresh, the UX Writing team shapes consumer & enterprise interfaces across various brands. As their leader, you'll collaborate closely with UX Design, Product Management, UX Research, & Engineering to refine processes & direct UX Writers towards impactful work. 
Moreover, you will be advancing the team's & function's maturity by establishing frameworks & mechanisms that enhance our communication quality & grow the craft & impact of our UX Writing contributors.
In this hybrid role you will be blending the leadership of the discipline & strategic content design projects with occasionally contributing directly to writing tasks to support ongoing initiatives.

What youll do

• Enhance & uphold the HelloFresh UX Writing Tone Of Voice, guidelines, & standards to ensure consistent, delightful & trustworthy communication.
• Manage stakeholder understanding & expectation of the role & impact of UX Writing to create alignment & clarity on UX writing needs & ways of working.
• Lead your team in tackling complex & ambiguous content problems with UX methods to break them down & create testable hypotheses.
• Help your team to create & refine exceptional UX copy for our web & app interfaces, & collaborate closely with product managers & engineers to guarantee a high-quality implementation.
• Collaborate with & guide your team on working with UX research to validate copy hypotheses & generate a strong understanding of our customers communication needs.
• Participate in design & product reviews, offering feedback to improve team decision-making & work quality.
• Define different service levels of copy creation to support the various needs of the product organization & balance speed with quality.
• Collaborate with localization to ensure a high quality translation from the baseline language (US EN) into all different languages.

What youll bring

• 7+ years of experience in creating compelling, user-centric content & strategies for digital consumer products as demonstrated by a strong portfolio. Experience working in e-commerce is a plus.
• Experience in leading & expanding a UX Writing team to new heights. Working with a globally distributed team is a plus.
• Superior writing & communication skills, excellent knowledge of the English language, grammar, punctuation, spelling. 
• Experience creating content according to brand standards, & defining style & tone of voice guidelines for user interfaces.
• Experience partnering with Localization to create high quality communication across multiple languages.
• Experience working in an agile environment, fostering collaboration & communication among design, research, product, & engineering teams.
• Ability to integrate UX writing efforts with broader business goals.
• Proficiency in Figma & comparable digital design tools, enhancing creative workflows.
