Equity, Diversity + Inclusion Program Manager

As Tripadvisor Media Groups Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED+I) Program Manager you will help spearhead fostering a work culture of community & belonging by facilitating programs, events, learning experiences, & initiatives & building relationships (internal & external) that further our ED+I strategy.  Be ready to take on projects that will tap into your expertise & allow for growth & development! 

The ED+I Program Manager role reports to the Global Head of ED+I & will partner closely with the Senior Manager, ED+I Strategy, ED+I Coordinator, People Operations, Employee Resource Group (ERG) leads & ED+I champions across the business.  This person will also work in a highly matrixed environment that requires the ability to influence & collaborate across all of our brands & business units.

Responsibilities

  • Create a standard framework, measurement approach & ERG strategy that will drive consistency across all of our ERGs; inclusive of ERG expansion (by region & affinity) as needed
  • Support ERGs & their leaders/Executive Sponsors with the development of objectives, goal setting, programs/initiatives, events, & their successful execution
  • Collaborate with Learning & Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Technology & Analytics, Office Experience, Social Impact & the People Operations Business Partner teams as a driver & thought partner to operationalize the ED+I strategy & embed ED+I principles in workplace practices, processes, & policies
  • Assist with identifying & executing learning paths & experiences for senior leaders, people managers, individual contributors, ERGs & the ED+I Council across a range of general & tailored ED+I topics
  • Create an accountability culture by developing metrics & leveraging quantitative & qualitative data to track, evaluate, & report on progress & the effectiveness of ED+I activities against overall company strategy; setting realistic goals & outcomes
  • Liaise with Finance & maintain select components of ED+I budget 
  • Work with People Technology & Analytics to benchmark, gather, track, analyze, & communicate metrics to key internal & external stakeholders & the business
  • Collaborate with the Communications & Creative + Design teams to create an internal & external comms strategy that regularly increases awareness & connectivity,  provides updates & progress reports, & encourages all employees to adopt inclusive behaviors as well as ensures we effectively tell a compelling ED+I story 
  • Cultivate & manage external partnerships, inclusive of creating measurable goals to assess the success of the partnership
  • Analyze & present trends in the area of ED+I, stay abreast of best practices, & benchmark leading companies & programs to help enhance our ED+I efforts

Key Skills/Experience

  • Strategic, integrative thinker who is able to understand the cross-departmental relationships necessary to implement company-wide change
  • High attention to detail & the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, plan workflow & take initiative
  • Ability to interact, present & communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Global perspective & ability to identify & respond to regional nuances
  • Experience tracking spend, coordinating budget allocations & providing quarterly budget updates
  • Experience gathering, researching & analyzing data
  • 4+ years of experience in equity, diversity & inclusion, learning & organizational development, analytics, and/or marketing, preferred
