About the Role

iCapitals business is growing rapidly, successful candidates will join in our efforts to help iCapital clients in Japan to access alternative investments. iCapital is looking for a talented Vice President Implementation Specialist to join the APAC Implementation Team. The role is based in Tokyo to support our clients & partners. The role encompasses supporting the technical operational needs of all platform offerings as well as supporting & identifying the development of custom features for new partners including providing support to design unique platform workflows. The ideal candidate has a penchant for knowledge, a hunger for growth & learning, & will embrace a collaborative, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

As a Vice President Implementation Specialist, you will be supporting multiple projects & tasks concurrently. This may include:

• Learn & support all interfaces on the iCapital platform; develop in-depth understanding of the platform & proactively identify issues & areas for improvement. 
• Work with senior team members to scope, prepare & manage detailed & technical implementation tasks & responsibility lists for timely & successful platform & fund launches for our Japanese clients.
• Work with senior team members to support the launch of new clients & funds:
  • Configure bespoke platform settings
  • Manage user setup
  • Map offering documents
  • Test setup prior to release
• Handle internal & external client platform update requests via the teams ticketing system
• Lead efforts to implement & troubleshoot integration connections between clients, vendors, & iCapital
• Project manage data integrations with clients/vendors.
• Build strong internal relationships within iCapital & work closely with other teams (Product Origination, Platform Implementation, Client Success, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Technology, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes & successful long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Academic and/or professional qualification: B.Sc in computer or related fields
• 8+ years of work experience in business integration, project technology implementation
• Experience with technical platform integration in the Financial Services industry (analyzing system workflows & business process flows)
• Ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, & procedures
• Demonstrate initiative, passion & willingness to roll up ones sleeves, get the job done, & a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects & different client stakeholders with attention to detail
• Strong work ethic & high degree of accountability
• Excellent written & verbal skills in English & Japanese
