*This is a Data Strategy role, working collaboratively with a team of analysts on varying business objectives & requirements. It is not a Data Analytics role.*

Were hiring in the TV Licensing Data team here at RAPP for a Data Director to replace an existing member of the team.  The TV Licensing team is an outsourced model & you will be part of a 45-strong, cross-discipline team that writes the annual marketing plan, creates the strategy, delivers the campaigns & evaluates what works for the client.

The Opportunity

The Data Planning Team on TVL is about taking Data Strategy into the future & using a scientific approach to ensure everything we do can be measured effectively to show business value. We are responsible for knowing who the customer is & being the voice of the customer within the agency to enable best in class customer experience.

You will work with the TVL transactional database of 32m domestic & business records, which is used to derive insights on licence purchasing behaviour. Every test that we undertake, every campaign that we roll out, & every decision that we take on the TVL Account is driven by insight.

As a member of the TVL Data team you are responsible for delivering data based insights, continuously identifying new opportunities to deploy data creatively. You will be the day-to-day Data Planner lead for specific segments of the customer base & for specific in-depth data projects, working as part of a client team as the Data Planning expert, to scope & deliver projects on the Marketing Plan providing data driven solutions.  Constantly striving to improve the way we manage & innovate for the client.

In your role you will demonstrate high levels of competence in the following areas:

  • Strategic thinking ability & lateral approach to solving problems
  • Ability to use & interpret statistical & analytical outputs analysis to understand who the customer is & create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Understanding of all types of campaign metrics & measurement
  • Staying abreast on industry trends & marketing technology ecosystems & the ability to articulate these trends & systems to our client
  • Contribute to the development of new products, innovation & thought leadership
  • Designing data driven communications strategies
  • Designing test plans for new campaign activity
  • Supporting data strategy proposals with business cases
  • Working with third party data suppliers to provide solutions for clients
  • Working with Data Planners & Analysts to design & deliver campaign reporting & data visualisation
