DACH Marketing Manager - Berlin or Munich based

We are looking for a smart & driven DACH Marketing Manager to support the growth targets for the DACH region. With a strong & dedicated team, the DACH business has grown fast - we have exclusive & long term partnerships with leading Publishers such as Sddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Strer & Bauer Media Group & our advertisers include major brand names such as VW, Deutsche Bank, HelloFresh, ERGO & many more. 

The DACH Marketing Manager role is a full-time position, & sits within the EMEA Marketing Team. It requires the candidate to collaborate with different teams such as the DACH Sales team, Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, Design & other teams to execute regional marketing plans aimed at driving business growth in the region. This role allows you to go new ways to further accelerate our & your own growth.

Responsibilities & skills:

• Develop the marketing strategy & plan for DACH to drive regional business growth & maximize immediate & long-term ROI
• Support with the creation & execution of data-based marketing strategies to drive regional business growth & maximize immediate & long-term ROI
• Own in-person & online events from coordinating operations with different stakeholders, managing our presence & creating impactful content to drive leads & build awareness, like OMR or DMEXCO
• Plan & execute customer retention activities including hosted events & gifting
• Translate activities into meaningful data & reports using various platforms & tools, like Salesforce & QlikSense
• Drive PR & communication efforts in collaboration with our PR agency
• Grow & monitor local content & social channels, optimizing their use for maximum impact, for example the Taboola blog & LinkedIn profile
• Localize global marketing materials & create local market insights
• Collaborate effectively together with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Account Management & Marketing to understand business goals & execute on marketing objectives in a timely manner
• Develop a deep understanding of Taboolas product positioning, core advantage & unique offering in order to best represent the company to different kinds of external audiences via different channels

Requirements:

• Native German speaker & fluent in English
• 3+ years of experience in owning & leading marketing strategies in a B2B company
• Thorough understanding of various marketing channels 
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Innovative self-starter & solution-oriented problem solver
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• A team player & comfortable to work with a high degree of autonomy in an ever-changing startup-like environment

• Experience in (digital) event management is a plus 
• Comfortable working with remote, international teams
