We are looking for an outstanding Senior IT Systems Engineer to join the Convene team in a fast-paced, agile environment to work on a broad range of business initiatives by leveraging a wide set of technologies & tools. You will be working to support our internal Convene team across desktop (Mac/PC), multiple cloud environments, & a diverse range of third-party SaaS products. Youll be empowered to drive technology decisions that positions Convene to transform the workplace while developing our cutting-edge Convene IT Cloud utilizing major Cloud providers & their latest service offerings.

Please note: candidate must currently reside in the UK & be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

What Youll Do:

• Work with a team of extremely talented engineers to architect & build the platform that will power the Convene Corporate team
• Build & maintain Corporate infrastructure fully based with cloud-based tools
• Maintain & be a subject matter expert in the companys primary IDP with deep knowledge of concepts surrounding  SAML, SCIM, & OAuth
• Build & maintain the automation suite for the Helpdesk & Corporate Engineering teams
• Participate in the design & implementation of a complex system
• Work with departments across the company & help the team respond quickly & effectively to business needs
• Be a subject matter expert & L3 escalation point of contact across all Convene Corporate IT systems
• Deploy tools & enforce policy to maintain best practices around IT Security 
• Explore new technologies & have fun finding the best tools

What We Look For: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Windows & MacOS environments
• Windows Server 2012+ & Active Directory
• DevOps Based Environments with proficiency in Powershell, CI/CD, Git
• IDP/SSO Driven Environments. (Strong knowledge of Okta is preferred) 
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) Driven Environments using systems such as Microsoft Intune, VMWare Workspace One, or JAMF. (Strong knowledge in VMWare Workspace One is preferred)
• Working within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments (AWS experience preferred)
• Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 (Google Workspace experience preferred)
• Zendesk, Jira, or other issue-tracking systems (Jira experience preferred)
• Care deeply about quality & knows what it means to deliver high-quality experience
• Collaborative & adaptive, youre comfortable wearing many different hats
• Have a fun personality, communicate clearly, & a pleasure to work with
• Take the initiative to point out issues & improvements when applicable
