As Senior UX Designer, Cruise, youll be responsible for creating delightful, useful, & usable digital solutions that help every traveler plan & make memorable cruise experiences. You will translate business and user goals into impactful & user-centric designs, which includes but not limited to wireframing, prototyping, user testing, & visual design. As a part of the design team, you will partner with product managers, developers, marketing, & other designers, while managing the user experience for an area of the business.
What Youll Do

Lead the full UX design cycle for your area of the business, from discovery & definition to implementation & testing.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders & team members to brainstorm new products, features, & functionality that enhance our web experiences with a mobile-first lens.

Partner closely with product & engineering to translate business & user goals into elegant & practical designs that can deliver on key business & user metrics.

Ensure designs & user interfaces convey consistent, data-driven solutions across all platforms, & are in alignment with core site & branding strategy.

Conduct research including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, & other forms of requirements discovery.

Produce user requirements, storyboards, wireframes, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, & design specifications.

Advocate for user- & data-driven design & deliver solutions & information architecture using participatory & iterative design techniques.

Effectively communicate UX research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, & design rationale both verbally & visually.

Lead collaborative & productive virtual & in-person workshops & design-thinking sessions.
Skills & Experience
-
5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated UX expertise in user research, visual design, interaction design, & information architecture.

Experience creating world-class digital experiences that generate meaningful outcomes for users & the business.

A track record of great collaboration with product, marketing, & engineering peers & teams.
-
Strong communication & storytelling skills with ability to explain design decisions to all levels of the organization.

Advocate for user needs backed by quantitative & qualitative data & research.
-
Expertise with design, research, & facilitation tools such as Figma, Usertesting.com, & Miro.

A strong portfolio that demonstrates tangible impact to user experience, a design eye for aesthetics & visual design, & connection of your efforts towards user & business outcomes.
-
High-growth, scaled, consumer-facing experience in travel, media, retail, or marketplaces are a bonus.
