The Gig

Tock is looking for an experienced Director of Sales Operations to join our Sales team. You will report directly to our Senior Director of Sales & partner with finance & marketing leadership to develop & track revenue forecasting, team performance, & KPIs to promote visibility across the organization. You will be the primary contact for the sales organization for process & data related questions.

This is a hybrid role working out of our Chicago office three days per week.

You'll Get To...

  • Lead Sales Operations, providing guidance to enhance team performance
  • Lead the development of new initiatives for the sales team focused on enhancing salesperson productivity & reducing customer acquisition costs
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue including making recommendations & suggestions on go-to-market strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve our operational efficiencies and, implement improvements, & align the business.
  • Oversee the implementation of, & help develop our tech stack, including gathering requirements, monitoring data hygiene, & implementing & documenting solutions to meet our needs
  • Manage sales collateral for access by sales reps
  • Promote communication best practices for sales & sales support
  • Maintain data integrity within sales systems, including Salesforce CRM, & ensure data compliance, cleanliness & governance
  • Develop reporting (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) & dashboards for the sales organization that focus on improving efficiency, & productivity
  • Conduct detailed analysis & communicate results through written & verbal channels.
  • Run monthly sales representative commission reports
  • Work with the Sales leadership team & colleagues to improve accurate business planning & territory management, pipeline forecasting, & methodology adoption to track sales results with periodic metrics/KPI reporting & insights
  • Develop & implement processes to improve pipeline efficiency & management. This includes working with the Field Ops & Sales leadership to improve sales pipeline reporting & deal hygiene, & the Strategy & Finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts & plans
  • Collaborate with Tock leadership to develop & implement strategic initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Marketing, Finance, & Account Management, to ensure cohesion in overall business strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure lead management processes, metrics & policies

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; technical or business-related field ideal
  • 5-7+ years of relevant Sales Operations work experience with field or outbound sales reps within the SaaS industry
  • Experience with Salesforce pipeline management & reporting
  • Experience with the Outreach.io suite (Commit, Kaia)
  • 5+ years experience analyzing data & presenting results
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, proficiency with Google suite, & experience with SQL & Looker ideal
  • Experience designing Revenue Performance Insights, Sales coverage modeling, Sales productivity, revenue reporting, forecasting & pipeline management.
  • Understanding of the current B2B SaaS environment & common pipeline generation techniques & strategies used within this environment
