Job Description

We are looking for a Translator to join our high-performing Culinary Team. You will play an important role in translating, editing, & proofreading our delicious recipes from English to Norwegian. The ideal candidate will be able to masterfully translate & update recipe cards to brand tone of voice & local style guide, compose clever recipe descriptions, & optimize language for style, clarity, grammar, & punctuation all while staying mindful of a tight production workflow. HelloFresh recipe cards are our most important connection to our customers, & clear, concise, error-free recipes ensure a truly successful customer experience.

You will...

• Translate, proofread, & edit recipes from English to Norwegian, ensuring accuracy, clarity, & consistency of voice & style across all recipe cards
• Bring out your inner copywriter & create intriguing & irresistible recipe descriptions
• Work closely with the local editorial team to eliminate recipe errors if/when product changes are made
• Support our editors with various operational tasks 
• Ensure translated content conveys the original meaning & tone of voice

You have...

• 1+ year of professional Translation Experience
• Fluency in Norwegian both written & oral. Preferably mother tongue
• Fluency in English
• A flexible mindset & excitement to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail & ability to ensure timely execution of weekly tasks & deadlines
