About the Role:
The Sales Operations Associate plays a pivotal role within Qumulo, responsible for driving the effectiveness & efficiency of our sales organization. This strategic position will partner with cross-functional teams to develop & implement sales strategies, optimize processes, & provide insights that drive sales performance & growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales strategy, data-driven decision-making, reseller models & a proven track record in sales operations leadership. Candidates in & around the Greater Seattle Area are strongly preferred but remote candidates located in the United States will also be considered. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Support: Assist in gathering & analyzing data to support strategic sales planning. Help prepare materials for leadership discussions & track progress on key initiatives.
- Process Improvement Execution: Support the implementation & documentation of sales processes. Identify inefficiencies & provide suggestions to improve productivity & streamline workflows.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Maintain & update sales reports & dashboards. Monitor KPIs & help surface insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Support: Assist with collecting & validating sales pipeline data. Help monitor forecasting inputs & highlight variances or gaps.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with peers in Marketing, Finance, & Customer Success to support aligned efforts & share relevant information across teams.
- Team Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with Sales Ops team members to support shared goals. Actively participate in team meetings, share knowledge, & seek opportunities to learn & grow.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Sales Operations, preferably in a role within the technology or data storage industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), BI tools, & data analysis.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading & developing high-performing teams, with a focus on driving results & fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate business goals into actionable sales strategies & initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
Key Benefits
The annual pay range for the role is USD 140,000 - $180,000.
Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience & skills, & location. Pay ranges are reviewed & typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
