Team Lead, Professional Services

The Role

Qubits Professional Services team includes the brightest talent: ex-consultants, engineers, entrepreneurs & university graduates. We are looking for a Team Lead, to be a key player in delivering best in class professional services packages, technology implementations & ongoing operational programmes. We need somebody with strong industry expertise & experience in being a strategic advisor for enterprise customers.

At an exciting time in Qubits growth, the successful candidate will be responsible for coaching & mentoring junior team members, owning top tier customer relationships & supporting your Professional Services Manager in executing against the Professional Services strategy & success metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Head of Professional Services in:
    • Delivering on the business & Professional Services strategy & key success measures
    • Evolving industry best practice delivery of technical implementation & strategic programmatic execution
    • Managing a portfolio of enterprise level client(s) with strategic work streams for a number of parallel projects including:
      • Enablement, training & adoption of the Qubit platform
      • Ongoing optimisation programme
      • Onboarding & strategic services packages
    • Monitoring staffing & scheduling operations
  • Team management
    • Coaching & mentoring the team to support them in executing strategically, delivering real business value to customers through understanding success metrics,demonstrating deep industry/vertical expertise. Being a point of escalation when required
    • Guides team to manage client expectations & key stakeholders alignment to make sure projects are delivered on time & within budget
    • Responsible for recruitment, onboarding new hires, personal development plans & performance reviews of direct reports
    • Provides skill development opportunities to direct reports & work with them in regular one-on-one sessions
  • Work in collaboration with the Qubit Customer Success Managers to:
    • Provide status & outcomes of programme delivery
    • Identify client growth opportunities & flag relationship or retention risks
    • Share knowledge that you acquire on the customer company, business objectives & stakeholders
  • Be the customer advocate, bringing their voice & needs back to the business
  • Liaise with Professional Services peers & internal teams to ensure that we are meeting cross-functional objectives
  • Opportunity to become an evangelist for Qubit through speaking at events & developing specialist expertise

Personal Attributes

  • BA/BSc or higher
  • In excess of 4 years experience in enterprise SAAS, IT/management consulting or another relevant industry
  • Team lead or management experience
  • Proven track record of meeting & exceeding goals
  • Proven passion for technology & digital
  • Services consulting skills in digital or relevant industry
  • Experience in working with software platforms
  • Some understanding of the SAAS industry & professional services operating models
  • Comfortable with technical concepts & adept at learning new technology applications
  • Interpersonal skills, with ability to manage & work with both technical & business staff/customers
  • Strong business acumen & experienced communicator at senior levels of customer organisations
  • Basic knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Self starter, who enjoys working autonomously in a fast paced & innovative environment
