Warby Parker is on the lookout for a highly analytical Store Planner to help develop & execute our retail strategy. In this role, youll be responsible for analyzing the retail business by region & location to ensure we are achieving inventory productivity. Through location-level forecasting, youll have the opportunity to shape our strategy so that our product assortment & inventory align with customer demand & company targets. 

Our ideal candidate is no stranger to analysis & is able to consider past, present, & future figures. Excellent collaboration & communication skills are also musts since youll often partner with other teams, such as Merchandising, Supply Chain, & Finance. What youll do: 

  • Evaluate current trends by location & geographic region to develop a store-clustering strategy that will inform inventory allocation, assortment planning & purchasing strategies
  • Build out improved store & regional reporting
  • Own location-level forecasts & identify forecast methodology improvements
  • Manage floor set reporting & liaise with merchant team to ensure inventory is equitably allocated across stores
  • Partner with the Merchandising & Retail teams to identify an ideal inventory strategy for stores in new markets

Who you are: 

  • Equipped with 3-4 years of experience in regional planning or allocation
  • The proud owner of a bachelors degree in business administration or a related field
  • Capable of building processes & reports from scratch to identify opportunities & risks
  • A self-starter whos comfortable navigating uncharted territory
  • Highly analytical & strategic
  • A strong communicator, able to collaborate across the organization

Extra credit:

  • Wizard-level Excel skills (particularly in modeling)
  • A strong understanding of retail math (costing, gross margins, turn, etc.)
  • Experience with Looker
