Were hiring a freelance Online Content Editor, fluent in Danish, German, & English, to join our remote team on a 12-month contract. Youll focus on reviewing & curating digital content for users in Denmark & Germany, shaping the mobile news experience by selecting high-quality, locally relevant articles from across the web. Youll use your editorial judgment, regional knowledge, & cultural awareness to create engaging, policy-compliant news feeds that reflect what matters most to local audiences.
What youll bring: - Full professional fluency in Danish, German, & English (spoken & written)
- Strong editorial judgment & understanding of digital media trends
- Deep familiarity with current affairs, culture, & media landscapes in Denmark & Germany
- Experience in journalism, editing, content curation, or digital publishing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Confidence navigating CMS platforms & digital editorial tools
In this role, you will: - Curate news & lifestyle content for users in Denmark & Germany
- Select articles from a wide range of trusted sources that are timely, engaging, & compliant
- Balance content mix across verticals (e.g. politics, entertainment, health, tech)
- Monitor breaking news & regional trends in real time
- Apply editorial guidelines to ensure accuracy, diversity, & relevance
