YOUR ROLE

As a Creative Copywriter, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, writing prowess, & strategic expertise at a local & regional level for a key automotive client. You'll be an integral part of our creative team & play a pivotal role in crafting compelling & engaging content across various channels.  You are expected to support, & at times spearhead collaborations with RAPP offices across Southeast Asia while delivering innovation creative solutions in new business pitches.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

(But are not limited to)

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, & proofread a wide range of content, including but not limited to print ads, social posts, film & radio scripts, websites, digital media & more.
  • Idea Generation: Develop content with original ideas, themes, & concepts, whether for storytelling, marketing, or information dissemination.
  •  Audience Understanding: Analyze target audiences to adapt writing style, tone, & content to suit different demographics & objectives.
  • Research: Research to gather information & ensure the accuracy & authenticity of content.
  • Editing & Revising: Review & revise work to improve clarity, coherence, & overall quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with graphic designers, art directors & other team members to create integrated & cohesive content.
  • Adaptation: Adapt writing for different media, including print, online, & social media platforms.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, creative writing techniques, & content marketing best practices.
  • Presentations: Sell ideas to clients in a compelling & passionate manner that reflects your depth & professionalism as a brand guardian.
  • Meeting Deadlines: Complete writing assignments within specified deadlines.

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, linguistics (English), or a related field.
  • Proven experience in creative copywriting, minimum 3 years experience with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to engage & persuade audiences.
  • Exceptional writing & editing skills, with a keen eye for detail & a deep understanding of grammar & style.
  • Creative thinking & the ability to develop fresh, imaginative ideas.
  • Strong presentation & communication skills & the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Preferably with knowledge of SEO best practices & a track record of improving search engine rankings through content.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard writing & editing tools.
