About the role
Were looking for a visionary creative leader to take on one of the most exciting in-house ECD roles in the world. Based in Berlin, youll head up our international in-house creative teams & shape the future of how we build & express our global brands.
As the most senior creative voice within HelloFreshs international marketing organization, youll define a bold, compelling creative visionand bring it to life across multiple brands & global markets. From high-impact ATL campaigns to in-box packaging, from search engine copy to social-first stunts, your influence will be everywhere our brands touch customers.
This role calls for a world-class creative leader & operator, with a deep understanding of both conceptual brand-building & high-performance marketing. Youll lead & inspire teams across disciplines, turning transformative ideas into powerful, effective creative work that drives growthand changes the way people eat, forever.
This role is based in HelloFreshs Creative Studio in Berlin, & reports directly to Patrick Stal, SVP of Marketing
What youll do
- Set the creative vision & raise the bar for craft, storytelling, & creative performance across all channels & brands.
- Lead, mentor, & grow a diverse in-house creative team, fostering a culture of bold thinking, collaboration, & innovation.
- Translate big ideas into campaigns & executions that perform globally, across markets & mediafrom broadcast & OOH to CRM, digital, social, & packaging
- Develop meaningful cross-functional partnerships within the Brand department & across the wider organization to support business-wide initiatives
- Expert at rallying key stakeholdersincluding local CMOsaround a shared vision & driving unified action
- Drive & monitor compelling messaging & communication tactics both within & beyond our industry to ensure we are current with the rapidly evolving food marketing landscape
- Identify trends in marketing/advertising trends in order to best service client accounts
- Provide senior creative direction on all marketing needs including online marketing, offline design (brand design, brand guidelines, packaging, etc.), advertising campaigns, digital creative needs, copywriting, & content creation, including video
What youll bring
- 15+ years experience leading advertising, design, innovation & creative teams
- Proven leadership of large, multidisciplinary creative teams across multiple international markets.
- You bring the perfect blend of creative vision, strategic insight, & strong management skills to guide our brands creative directionensuring your teams deliver work that aligns seamlessly with our brand voice & visual style
- Experience leading the development & execution of global campaigns tailored to multiple markets & languages, ensuring local relevance & impact
- A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect creative thinking to measurable outcomes & speak confidently about the value your work delivers
- Must have hands-on experience in dynamic in-house tech settingsagencies included
- A forward-thinking approach to integrating GenAI tools & best practices, driving innovation across creative teams
- You bring a proven track record in building & creating the respective companys brand(s) output in traditional & digital media, design & performance marketing - including a detailed understanding of the new media landscape, relevant business strategies & the world of consumer insights.
