About the role
This role is on our Core Insurance Platform team, which is responsible for building & improving the technology that drives our insurance operations. As a Product Manager on the Core Insurance Platform team, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering & Design to build experiences within the Utilization Management & Pharmacy domains. The technology will include ingesting data from external sources, building experiences to drive operational efficiency, & standing up net new services to move business initiatives forward.
You will report to a Senior Product Manager.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Ave), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $131,200 - $172,200 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants & annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities

Define & execute on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for product investments that power platforms

Define OKRs & KPIs to measure business & operational impacts, & relentlessly identify improvements

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, & operations partners to gather insights on user needs & ship innovative functionality that improves operational & financial efficiency goals

Articulate crisp & thorough requirements & clearly communicate them across stakeholders, incorporating data & user research insights

Problem solve issues across teams to quickly diagnose root cause & move to resolution factoring in trade-offs on speed, scalability & quality

Spearhead complex initiatives with ability to influence without authority. Manage timelines, cross-functional team accountability, & risk identification

Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
4+ years of experience collaborating cross-functionally among engineers, designers, operations experts, & others in a Product Management or Product Management-adjacent role
-
2+ years of experience in driving rigorous prioritization processes

2+ years of experience with tech systems & understand basic technology infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships, & leveraging database tools such as SQL

Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
