The Team & Role

SevenRooms is looking for a full time data-oriented & process-minded People Operations Manager to join our People team. As the People Operations Manager, you will act as the operational centre of excellence for the People team, working in close partnership with Talent Acquisition, People Success & Talent Experience. In this role, you will take ownership of high priority projects to improve operational efficiency across the global People team, create & maintain dashboards for key HR metrics related to headcount, hiring, compliance, retention & recruiting. Were looking for someone who brings a high level of passion for people, data, process improvements, & the proven ability to handle sensitive / confidential information. 

This role is essential to the success of the SevenRooms People team & will report to our Chief People Officer & locally report into the HR Director, International (based in the UK)

What Youll Do

  • Act as primary owner of the Companys HRIS (BambooHR) & provide source of truth data for all employee information 
  • In collaboration with People team leadership, maintain executive dashboards for key HR metrics related to headcount, hiring, EEOC, retention & recruiting. 
  • Ensure People Team databases, PEO systems & employee files are up-to-date (i.e. new hires, salary changes, promotions, leave status, separations, etc)
  • Act as an initial point of contact for a wide range of questions covering topics like benefits, payroll, onboarding, & People Team systems.
  • Responsible for scheduled compliance audits including global payroll, time & attendance, SOC 2, & contractor status. 
  • Collaborate with PEO on all local, federal & state registrations & reporting to ensure SevenRooms is meeting all legal requirements
  • Manage the administration of new hire onboarding, including new hire paperwork, background checks, HRIS processing & set up on various people systems. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve & scale our People team systems & technology stack (Greenhouse, Bamboo, Lattice, Slack,etc)
  • Create & maintain Standard Operating Procedures that enable consistent & timely practices across the People Team 
  • Handle ad-hoc data requests from the People Team & Executive Leadership Team as needed

  • You are familiar with ATS & PEO software
  • CIPD Level 5 & above or equivalent preferable
  • Strong HR functional expertise, knowledgeable of local data protection legislation & relevant employment & immigration laws, benefits & compliance & policy management
