DigitalOcean is seeking a Senior Growth Account Manager who will play a critical role in expanding relationships with our existing customers & unlocking their full potential with our products & services. The ideal candidate will focus on driving account growth through strategic planning, identifying & acting on upsell & cross-sell opportunities, & ensuring maximum satisfaction & value realization for each customer.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Strategic Account Growth: Own & grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts by developing & executing tailored strategies that align with customer needs & drive revenue expansion.
- Onboarding & Engagement: Onboarding process for new accounts to ensure a seamless start, setting the stage for long-term growth. Maintain consistent, meaningful engagement through regular check-ins, updates, & meetings.
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main relationship manager for business & high-value customers, focusing on nurturing long-term, trust-based partnerships that foster growth.
- Growth-Oriented Collaboration: Work closely with support teams to identify opportunities for account growth, including contract renewals, feature adoption, upsell, & cross-sell initiatives.
- Customer Success & Retention: Drive customer retention by understanding customer goals, offering solutions tailored to their needs, & ensuring they derive maximum value from DigitalOcean's offerings.
- Feedback & Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate by collecting & relaying feedback to Product & Engineering teams, enhancing the overall customer experience & aligning our solutions to drive growth.
- Performance Monitoring & Metrics: Track, analyze, & report key metrics related to customer growth, health, & retention, providing data-driven insights to inform strategies & optimize performance.
What Well Expect From You:
- 7-10 years of experience in growth account management or sales, with a strong focus on growth & expansion within existing customer bases
- SaaS & Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Proven ability to develop & execute account growth strategies that drive revenue expansion
- Strong organizational & prioritization skills, with a track record of managing & growing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Excellent communication skillswritten & verbalwith an ability to build & maintain relationships focused on growth outcomes
- Deep understanding of upselling & cross-selling techniques, with an ability to identify & act on growth opportunities effectively
- Self-starter who works independently to achieve growth targets & exceeds customer expectations

- We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is $166,440 - $208,080 based on market data, relevant years of experience, & skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company & individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire & the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
