Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager, Member Experience Strategy to join our Strategy & insights team.

About the role

You will play a critical role in shaping Oscar's approach to delivering a frictionless & high-quality experience for the members that we serve. This high-performing & high visibility leader will lead the evolution of Oscars operating model by deriving insights from internal & external research, designing & executing upon strategic projects, & presenting strategic recommendations & scenarios to our executive team.

You will report to the Director, Strategy & Insights.

Work Location:

Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture & our mission.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

You must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $131,200 - $172,200 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $118,080 - $154,980 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage insights to define Oscar's foundational member segmentations & personas
  • Design differentiated member experience strategy & launch necessary operating model
  • Identify & deploy engagement opportunities to drive high value member interactions
  • Lead the design & establishment of operational reporting & insight capabilities to highlight trends, opportunities, & acute pain points
  • Identify & launch insight driven strategic initiatives, from ideation to execution
  • Collaborate deeply with SMEs & functional leaders across the organization
  • Maintain a strong external orientation, leveraging deep healthcare industry & market knowledge, a pulse on healthcare investments & innovation, as well as insights into our competition & our customers' needs to bring together research & strategic decisions in key areas
  • Lead & grow team, coaching team members & driving accountability

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in strategic operations capacity in healthcare or consumer focused industry
  • 5+ years of managing a team directly
  • 4+ years project planning & program management experience

Bonus Points

  • Master's degree
  • Management Consulting experience
  • Experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives
  • Considerable experience with Excel & financial modeling

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
