Position Overview
The Account Manager, Netherlands role is designed for an experienced professional with a proven track record in digital advertising, whether from agency, publisher, or technology vendor backgrounds. This role combines strategic account management with commercial growth responsibilities.
The Account Manager is responsible for servicing all aspects of customer accounts & relationships. The Account Manager (AM) will oversee campaign setup, maintenance, & troubleshooting for a large portfolio of accounts, ensuring operational excellence.
The AM will work closely & collaboratively with the Sales, Implementation, Product, Engineering, & Finance teams to deliver world-class customer service & solutions to the market. The Account Manager plays an integral role in recommending & implementing strategies for driving ongoing client product needs & will be responsible for educating customers about DoubleVerifys platform; Pinnacle & how products can be leveraged to meet their goals & objectives. The AM will be joining a team of two working directly with clients from the Netherlands market.
What youll do
- We are seeking a fluent Dutch & English speaker who can own end to end client relationship serving as the primary contact & trusted advisor.
- Conduct performance analysis & deliver actionable insights to optimise client outcomes.
- Develop account strategies that align client objectives with DV (DoubleVerify) capabilities, identify & implement upsell & cross-sell opportunities.
- Contribute to Business Reviews showcasing performance insights, optimisation recommendations & strategic roadmap discussions.
- Support in driving adoptions for DV solutions across Social & Open Web Environments.
- Manage escalations & resolve technical or service issues, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
- Ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards & are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Regular client contact through status calls, office hours, QBRs in person and/or virtually.
- Identify potential churn risks & escalate immediately to the appropriate salesperson & your manager.
Who you are
- 2-4+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success or Sales with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, & a proactive, positive approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel & PowerPoint) & Google Workspace applications (Google Slides/Sheets).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills & ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
- Experience with programmatic advertising platforms, measurement solutions, or verification technologies is highly desirable.
- This is not a remote position, you will be required to work independently from our office spaces in Amsterdam.
- Some Travel to the London office will be required.
- Fluent Dutch & English both written & spoken to a business level is required.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
