THE TEAM

Our business development team is at the forefront of the sales process, driving growth across our field sales organization & supporting our account executives by sourcing net new deals. Sales development representatives aka ZBRs as we call them, go way beyond making cold calls & sending out standardized emailsthey are the experts in the subscription economy & know how to connect with the right prospects. With the partnership of our marketing team, ZBRs are equipped with C-level messaging to help cut through the noise & generate interest from some of the most innovative & transformational companies in the world. The best part? Theres no better way to grow your sales career than by mastering the sale of a complex product, across multiple industries & to different functions within the executive team. Our ZEO culture empowers ZBRs to explore their career paths across different functions - sales, marketing, customer success, sales enablement to name a few!

WHAT YOU'LL DO & ACHIEVE

  • Complete Zuoras in depth onboarding & sales training & maintain expert knowledge of Zuoras messaging, products & services & unique sales approach 
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel Zuoras pipeline & growth
  • Collaborate with & leverage teammates (Sales Management, Account Executives, Marketing, Product, etc.) to develop targeted lists, call strategies & messaging to drive opportunities
  • Utilize business & industry knowledge to research & develop accounts accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, etc.
  • Outbound prospecting to companies via cold calls, email, marketing campaigns, social selling, etc.
  • Conduct high-level discovery & educational conversations with Senior Executives (C-Level, VP/Director) in target accounts
  • Exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Manage, track, & report on all activities & results using Salesforce

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Interest in a career in Sales or in Sales Leadership
  • At least 6-12 months experience of outbound sales/cold calling
  • Knowledge of business process, roles, & organizational structure
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, collaborative sales team environment; a true team player
  • Positive & energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
  • Passionate about technology, business, & winning
  • Proficient in using Salesforce & LinkedIn
