About the Role
Baidu Global Business Team is seeking a motivated & results-driven Advertising Sales Manager to join our team. We have built a new AI-powered advertising platform (Demand Side Platform, or DSP) in the market & are looking to tackle the performance industry with a focus on data-driven outcomes, leveraging our 22 years of advertising expertise to power our algorithm. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of the fastest growing DSP in the market & we are looking for a sales leader to guide our efforts.
- Bring relationships with performance display advertisers to Baidu MediaGo DSP to help clients drive performance (CPC/CPA/CPL) outcomes
- Independently build a large pipeline of sales leads (direct response, lead generation, personal finance, insurance, direct-to-consumer etc.) to drive test IOs for consistent deal flow
- Work with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations, ensure successful campaign delivery & help set the expectation for future potential growth
- Own the end-to-end pitch process for select upper-funnel advertiser clients
- Manage a robust pipeline & accurately forecast new business closure rate & revenue
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends & developments, as well as competitors offerings & strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience selling digital media, with a focus on performance native & display advertising
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in performance advertising, including prospecting, navigating complex organizations, & closing deals with key decision-makers
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, agencies, & internal stakeholders to drive trust, retention, & long-term partnerships
- Proactive in developing new client relationships through calls, emails, social media, in-person meetings, & networking events
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather business intelligence, identify trends, & leverage data to inform sales strategies & client recommendations

Base Salary Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $120,000 USD Base Salary + OTE Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $220,000 USD
