The Role 
BuzzFeed is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join our Los Angeles Post-Production team in a project-based capacity. Were looking for someone who can coordinate multiple feature-length projects simultaneously & has a strong interest in vertical video series.  This role will be required to go into the LA office as needed (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days at home), & 40/hrs a week is required.  
You WIll 
- Collaborate with Post Production Supervisor to oversee daily tasks & resourcing for feature-length content 
 
- Track & manage Post Production process, tasks, & schedules across multiple projects at different phases in production
 
- Review & Quality Control deliverables to Client, managing stakeholder expectations as needed for dailies, proxies, etc. 
 
- Ensure all assets are delivered on time & to spec
 
- Collaborate with Production to ensure footage is filmed on time & to spec 
 
- Facilitate communication between Creative Producers & Video Editors
 
- Identify problem areas quickly & pose creative solutions
 
- Manage administrative paperwork (NDAs & freelance timecards
 
 
You Have 
- At least 2-3 years experience working in film, tv, or digital production 
 
- Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines & deliverables
 
- Working knowledge of Post Production & Production process & equipment
 
- Knowledgeable with the technical side of Post Production
 
- Proficient in Project Management tools (Float & Airtable are a plus!)
 
- Familiarity with codecs, image types, resolutions, frame rates as they pertain to digital media trends
 
- Experience with Mac OS & Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder & After Effects
 
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus!
