Our User Researcher will work with product & design teams to scope, craft, & conduct user research to generate actionable insights that guide the future of the business & ensure our products & services meet the everyday needs of our users. Working alongside leaders & teams alike, they will conduct user research for critical customer journeys & products while also serving as a strong advocate for applied research & user-centered ways of working. As a member of the Research team, the User Researcher will lead both tactical & strategic research studies across multiple areas of the business. In parallel, they will work alongside Research & Strategy leadership to help shape the Research teams culture, ways of working, & approach to ResearchOps.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Partner with Research leadership, product managers, designers, & others to scope & lead tactical research, drive decisions, plan experiments, synthesize & communicate findings, & assist in estimating resource needs & schedules.
- Create impactful deliverables that clearly & persuasively communicate your findings, insights & recommendations to teamsspurring them to action.
- Manage & execute each step of the research process, including study planning, discovery, participant recruiting, conducting research activities & analysis, reporting, communication, & operations.
- Contribute to the creation, adoption & improvement of research practices, methods & guidelines & their consistent deployment across various projects.
- Serve as an advocate for user exposure & for user research as a team sport, empowering peers from all disciplines to center the customer experience in their day to day work.
- Increase the impact of every insight by contributing the results of their work to our research library & serving as an advocate for their peers to do the same.
What Well Expect From You:
- BS or MS in Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, HCI, Anthropology, Psychology, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience planning, conducting, & communicating the findings from user research for digital products & services, ideally with a focus on technical users
- A strong ability to understand & articulate user needs, as well as to generate & communicate compelling & actionable insights
- A strong understanding of the digital product lifecycle & the ability to collaborate successfully with designers, technical & business teams
- Proven knowledge of an array of quantitative & qualitative research methodologies & how to combine them to generate the most actionable insights
- Excellent communication & storytelling skills, with the ability to influence leaders as well as peers
- Ability & interest in running short-term tactical studies to inform rapid product iteration, with some experience & desire to plan & run strategic research with a longer time horizon & wider impact
- Familiarity with qualitative & quantitative data collection & analysis tools, including Qualtrics, GreatQuestion, GetFeedback, Amplitude & Looker
- A proven track record in conducting mixed-method research studies & an ability to demonstrate the impact of research
- An interest in collaborating closely with cross-functional teams & colleagues from across the organization

- We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 based on market data, relevant years of experience, & skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company & individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire & the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
