About the job

This position is needed to craft & deliver on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for Twilios Messaging Platform products such as Sync & Platform notifications.

You will join the Messaging Developer Experience products team of our Communications business unit. You will understand the needs of our customers for Platform capabilities & build products that solve that Messaging product needs at global scale. Working side by side with other product managers & engineering counterparts, you will collaborate to craft & deliver on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for Messaging platforms at Twilio.

Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

  • Be the voice of the customer in every conversation & decision, & ensure we build world class products that our customers love & value.
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, & release cadence for a major part of Twilios Messaging Platform product. 
  • Support your engineering team in delivering quality features efficiently, & your global go-to-market team in selling them. 
  • Get your hands dirty, align executives, convince peers, & coordinate dependencies to get-it-done.

Required:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of Product Management or related experience building customer-facing cloud products for businesses or developers.
  • Experience working in an agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams & customers, occasionally working non-standard hours.
  • Strong technical, analytical, & UI/UX design understanding. 
  • Ability to speak & write in English fluently.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required.

Desired:

  • Experience building products/services related to APIs, identity, notifications, authentication, fraud, billing, messaging, or telecom.
  • Experience working with direct sales, marketing, & defining pricing/packaging.

Location 

This role will be based in Tallinn or remotely in Estonia.

Travel

We prioritize connection & opportunities to build relationships with our customers & each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
