What Youll Do:

Food Preparation

• Ensure the prompt service of all meals & services at the required times to the companies standards & to the delegates satisfaction
• Under the instruction of the Head Chef, be responsible for the preparation & presentation of the food needed for consumption in the restaurant, & be available at service periods
• Ensure that the methods of preparation & presentation comply with the current recognised catering standards under the guidance of the Head Chef 
• Prepare & assist at special functions which may fall outside normal working hours 

Operational & Customer Service 

• Attend daily menu briefing
• Ensure any client requests & comments are responded to promptly & reported to the head chef
• Assist the head chef with serving on hot counters to ensure that the catering standards are met & are running in accordance with the booking schedule & all clients requirements are met & exceeded

Financial 

• Work alongside the front of house team to ensure that there is effective stock rotation system within the department 
• Accurately record wastage & under the guidance of the head chef take appropriate steps to keep wastage to a minimum

Health & Safety 

• Adhere to all etc venues & statutory regulations pertaining to health, safety & fire at all times
• Ensure a standard of personal, general cleanliness & hygiene to comply with etc venues and statutory regulations
• Wear the correct standard of dress or uniform at all times
• Adhere to the company & statutory regulations pertaining to safety & hygiene operations of the kitchen & ancillary areas at all times
• Report any defective & hazardous equipment immediately to the head chef
• Ensure that stores & other areas of potential loss are secured at all times
• Report any loss immediately to the General Manager
• Upkeep all regulations appertaining COSSH & HACCP at all times 

Other responsibilities 

• Carry out any reasonable management requests including duties normally undertaken by the Chef de Partie in his / her absence 
• Build good working relationship with all other areas of the venue team
• Support the venue team including assisting with client events that may fall outside of normal working hours & weekends
• Attend any company events & training as requested by the management

We're seeking an International Sales Manager to join our Sales Team.

This role will drive net new leads & market expansion for CHG across the UK & Europe. Also, create, convert, & scale new strategic corporate revenue streams by building a deep portfolio of direct clients, developing material commercial insight on audiences + sectors, & opening up new monetisable use cases across the CHG portfolio.
