Your role

As a Manu Planning & Analytics Intern (f/m/d/x) you play a key role within our Product team by supporting the operational & analytical planning of our core physical product the HelloFresh meal kits.

In this role, you are actively involved in planning & coordinating our weekly recipe portfolio, helping shape what our customers cook & enjoy each week. You collaborate closely with various teams, gaining hands-on experience in the processes behind one of the fastest-growing companies in the food industry.

Your area of responsibility

• Menu creation & optimization: This is done through an algorithm offering countless possibilities to create the best possible menu for our consumers
• Menu De-Risking: You will lead a number of cross-collaborative initiatives & processes aiming to reduce the menu risk & to ensure ingredient availability by considering the end-to-end value chain of our product
• Operations support: You support the team in day-to-day operations as well as with administrative & organizational tasks along the supply & menu planning process & have the opportunity to solve concrete problems, make decisions, & learn to manage real-world situations in a dynamic environment
• Process management: You will participate in projects aimed at optimizing & automating & improving our product processes & supply chain by working with other teams
• Reporting: You will track the weekly performance of menus & recipes, & conduct analyses on their monthly/quarterly performance
• Recipe change management in menus: You will select alternative recipes when needed (ingredient shortage, marketing need, etc.)
• Database management: You will contribute to the maintenance of the recipe & ingredient database in alignment with the culinary teams

Your profile

• Currently completing a degree in business administration or a related field
• Initial experience in procurement/(customer) analytics, ideally gained in a foodtech company 
• Enthusiasm for the world of food & an interest in data
• Excellent command of Excel - familiarity with SQL & Python would be a strong advantage
• Hands-on & collaborative way of working as well as a strong team spirit - essential qualities for working closely with a variety of people & cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English, additional German language skills are nice to have
• You are highly organized, precise & pay attention to detail
• Proactive & ambitious manner, with a strong drive to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
