The team & your role

Were looking for a motivated software engineer to join the team that enables the measurement that directly & indirectly underpins the lion's share of DV revenue. 

The team owns a mission-critical, mature, but rapidly evolving, battle-tested product used in production on a massive scale. It has the leading position in projects related to retaining or expanding measurement coverage across the digital ecosystem, integrating with industry giants & expanding support for new ad formats & channels.  As a centerpiece of the DoubleVerify offering, it requires close cooperation with other teams around the world.

You will use Javascript/Typescript both on client-side & server-side. You will maintain & improve existing code bases, but also build new solutions adapted for traffic at massive scale. You will build CI/CD pipelines that deliver code & services to our robust cloud infrastructure. You will write multi-cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform. You will utilize Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services & other cloud providers. Being part of the team pioneering the field, you will get to experiment & adapt modern, cutting edge technologies like serverless edge workers.

Who You Are

• You are a problem solver first, not just a coder
• You thrive in an environment where engineering is empowered & takes ownership
• You are able to communicate effectively about technical concepts
• You enjoy collaborating & proactively helping moving projects forward, but you can also work independently
• You have at least five years of experience with modern software engineering or you can manifest your expertise in other ways (open source contributions, tech blog posts, conference talks, )
• You have experience in developing applications in a cloud environment
• You are familiar with professional software testing & continuous integration
• Extra bonus points for:
• Good data analysis skills 
• Familiarity with our tech stack described above
• Experience in the ad tech ecosystem
