About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Procurement Operations, you will be responsible for leading reporting of our procurement performance to support operational efficiency across our brands. This role will also lead reporting & automation projects for various business partners, including Planning, Logistics, Culinary, Product, Procurement, & Finance. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover opportunities for reporting or automation, define requirements, & design & build solutions, managing all aspects of project delivery & governance. Additionally, you will also lead the identification of process or control opportunities to improve cost management & tracking, & liaise with procurement & sourcing stakeholders to assess & prioritize opportunities for improvement.
What you will be doing:
- Build weekly, monthly, & quarterly COGS reports for all HelloFresh Brands (HelloFresh, Chefs Plate, Factor)
- Provide analysis of the Period-end operational cost results, including variance explanations & non-compliance with controls & processes
- Ideate, scope, & lead projects that support new systems onboarding & launch
- Support finance budgeting & planning processes, acting as the subject matter expert in COGS & procurement spend
- Continuously improve reporting capabilities by working closely with stakeholder teams to understand process & knowledge gaps
- Build tools, dashboards, & data-driven processes to help stakeholders across operational groups in making better business decisions
- Lead ad-hoc deep dives & analyses to understand organizational performance, identify gaps, & prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Develop project plans & project governance mechanisms to track project progress & ensure stakeholder engagement
- Advocate for data quality, data governance & data product thinking
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
At a minimum, you have:
- Strong communication skills & ability to explain complex topics to business stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end automation & reporting solutions
- 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in industries with a physical product
- Advanced proficiency within Google & Microsoft suite, particularly within Google Sheets & Excel
- Experience querying data from relational databases using SQL
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau
- Experience automating reporting solutions using Python, VBA, Apps Script or other programming languages
- Bachelors degree in STEM, Economics or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience
