Our Mission

Join us to tackle one of the worlds most pressing issues: the plastic packaging crisis.

Every year we consume 30% more resources than the planet can sustain. The world is waking up to the impact of packaging consumption & waves of new legislation are making single use more expensive. Recycling is a waste of time & energy. Reusing packaging has massive potential but it's too expensive for brands to scale.

Again ( is the supply chain infrastructure for circular packaging. We're building a decentralised network of smart packaging cleaning hubs that collect, clean & return packaging for FMCG brands (we call them 'Clean Cells'). Our innovative model delivers huge water, energy & logistics savings, allowing reuse to compete with single use on price. With stats like these, we're set to create the infrastructure that will change the way the world consumes.

Our Clean Cells are robotic systems that de-label, clean & stack packaging for FMCG brands. Today we have an MVP at our cleaning facility in South London & now need to take the product to the next level. We have ambitious goals to bring significant automation, intelligence, water & energy saving to future generations of the product, allowing us to truly compete & surpass single use packaging.

About the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role

- You will scope, schedule & manage the development process, ensuring alignment with the rest of the leadership team, on-time & on-budget delivery.
- You'll recruit, retain & grow a world class in-house engineering team from the ground up.
- You'll make detailed design choices across architecture, concepting, design, development & industrialisation to ensure optimum performance of the Clean Cell design.
- Ensure the design performs to all product & QA specs.
- You'll be the owner of the R&D budget, responsible for it's allocation & efficient utilisation.
- You'll join the leadership team, contributing to the overall business direction & strategy, ensuring our R&D innovation is exploited to the fullest.

 What you must have:

- Bachelor's & Master's, or preferably Doctorate degree, in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully building a cross-functional engineering team (across both hardware & software) & enabling them to achieve the highest levels of productivity & excellence.
- Successful experience of building robotic/autonomous systems from the ground up & comfortable starting from a blank sheet of paper.
- Ideally domain expertise in product handling, supply chain or logistics automation.
- A wide spectrum of knowledge across mechanical, electronics & software (system control & data platform) to impact all elements of our product.

What we value

- The ability to think big but act small & fast.
- A passion for sustainability & the drive to innovate to make world change happen sooner.
