What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning the product roadmap for DigitalOcean's web interfaces, including the control panel, documentation sites, & related web properties.
- Conducting user research to understand pain points & opportunities in the current web experience.
- Defining key metrics & KPIs to measure success of web product initiatives & optimizations.
- Collaborating closely with designers, engineers, content strategists, & other product teams to create cohesive, intuitive, & responsive web experiences.
- Prioritizing features & improvements based on user needs, business impact, & technical feasibility.
- Partnering with UX/UI teams to ensure consistent design language & interaction patterns across all web touchpoints.
- Leading the implementation of web accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity for all users.
- Regularly reporting on web performance metrics & insights to senior management, informing strategic decisions.
What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:
- 2 to 6 years of product management experience focused on web products or platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies, UX design principles, & web performance optimization.
- Experience with information architecture, content strategy, & creating intuitive navigation systems.
- Demonstrated success in improving conversion rates, engagement metrics, & overall user satisfaction for web products.
- Data-driven approach to decision making with experience in web analytics tools & A/B testing methodologies.
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle & experience in agile methodologies.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead & inspire teams across the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance immediate user needs with long-term product vision.
- Technical acumen to effectively communicate with engineering teams & understand web development challenges.
- Exceptional communication & leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives & influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving user experience & satisfaction.
- Experience with developer products & technical audiences is a huge plus.

- We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is between $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 based on market data, relevant years of experience, & skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company & individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire & the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
