Manager, Growth Marketing - Velocity Team
We are looking for an experienced & strategic Manager of Growth Marketing to lead our dynamic new velocity team. The Manager of Growth Marketing will be responsible for developing & executing innovative strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, & retention. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a passion for experimentation, & a track record of driving measurable results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, & data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead & inspire the new velocity team to develop & execute innovative growth strategies focused on user/customer acquisition, engagement, & retention across various channels. Establish cross-functional relationships, metrics, & team culture norms.
- User/Customer Acquisition: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop & execute strategies for driving user/customer acquisition through digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, & partnerships.
- Conversion Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize conversion rates at every stage of the customer journey through experimentation, A/B testing, & multivariate experiments.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analysis to identify trends, insights, & opportunities for optimization, & drive continuous improvement in key metrics.
- Retention & Engagement: Implement strategies to enhance user engagement & retention, including lifecycle marketing campaigns, personalized messaging, & product optimization.
- Product-Market Fit: Collaborate closely with product management & development teams to understand user needs, drive product enhancements, & ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, & customer success, to drive alignment & ensure cohesive execution of growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, product-led sales, or related roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record of successfully driving user acquisition, engagement, & retention through innovative growth strategies & tactics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data & make data-driven decisions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead & inspire a team to achieve measurable results.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally & influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in experimentation, A/B testing, & multivariate experiments to optimize key metrics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools & platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL, Python) is a plus.
- History & experience with complex software in Security & observability also a plus.

Sumo Logic Privacy Policy
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $123,040 - $144,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but arent limited to) such as role level, skills & competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, & experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, & equity awards.
