Were looking for a Solution Architect to work closely with a selection of our Enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, data, & customer success & enjoy working directly with clients to help solve business problems & provide data-driven outcomes. 

This role will also serve as a product expert to help drive customer adoption & retention, generating insights & creative ideas for Similarweb solutions. This role will report to the Director, Client Services, APJ.

Why is this role so important at Similarweb?

The Solution Architect is a key player on the Enterprise Team collaborating with a variety of internal cross-functional teams & supporting primarily the pre-sales cycle, ensuring real business value & working in a consultative manner with our clients. 

You will own the value-focused (pre-sales) phase of the sales cycle, improving the win rate of the sales cycle to increase ARR of the business, primarily taking on the persona of a subject-matter-expert on all proponents of the Similarweb tech stack. You will have the opportunity to directly advise the biggest consumer goods, finance & logistics companies on their digital strategy.

So, what will you be doing all day?

  • Being the joint point of contact for all prospects on each new business opportunity with the Sales Manager & Sales Development Representative, including presenting our data methodology, designing each proposal based on the prospects use case, steering trials & proof of concepts, evangelizing Similarweb & all our offerings.
  • Identify & mitigate scope reduction & optimize growth potential; implementing proactive measures to retain & expand utilization, scope of deliverables & enhance the client experience.
  • Develop strong subject matter expertise across all Similarweb solutions (focused on our SaaS offerings).
  • Conceptualising & designing relevant collateral for the team to drive the outbound motion

Requirements: 

  • Fluency in Mandarin & English.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing & relevant domains in the tech space.
  • Experience working with clients in the Greater China region would be a plus.
  • Client-facing experience in a scoping, success planning, & execution-heavy role.
  • Solid relationship-building skills the ability to quickly build rapport & establish trust (both internally & with clients).
  • Experience building & maintaining relationships with executive-level stakeholders in large, global, & complex companies.  
  • Strategic & analytical mindset with the ability to quickly discover, digest, & identify solutions to problems.
  • Strong presentation & storytelling skills when it comes to analyzing data to share meaningful insights.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues & business partners with a strong customer focus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, & results-oriented
