About The Team:

As the Strategy Director for HelloFresh UK, you will oversee & manage the business strategy for an industry leading brand, delivering structured plans to deliver P&L growth. Working directly with the UK CEO & Management Board you will take a leading role in defining our UK strategy, identifying & leading innovative growth initiatives, our top-priority retention program & management & development of a highly talented Strategy & Retention team.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal role in building out a category disruptor, working closely with HelloFresh Leadership to define & implement strategies that enable the UK to become the leading & most profitable food solution business in the market.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Reporting directly to the UK CEO to drive the strategy & vision for the UK
• Overseeing the development, management & execution of strategy projects across Retention, Marketing, Commercial & Expansion strategies, that deliver measurable impact & align to the business goals.
• Working directly with the wider UK Exec Team & Global functions to ideate & facilitate the strategic growth agenda for the business with a clear focus on the future
• Lead a team of experienced & high performing individuals across Strategy & Retention topics, providing mentorship & hands-on guidance to inspire, coach, & develop
• Develop a robust approach to understanding & tracking business, customer & market trends, to inform business strategy
• Setting up short- & long-term goals for HelloFresh UK, working closely with local & global leadership to oversee business planning & performance cycles
• Set local pricing strategies for products & services, creating distinct approaches for core subscription pricing & value add services to maximise business effectiveness
• Lead our retention strategy to address customer churn & build a sustainable subscription business with a healthy active customer base

Who You Are:

• Masters degree with excellent grades from a top tier university in Business, Economics or another related field of study
• 12+ years proven track record in top-tier consulting & strategy with significant experience in e-commerce / subscription businesses / consumer / retail.
• Relentless focus on the customer with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify trends & develop customer-focused, commercially-viable products & services
• Can build strong teams & maintain high-performance, fostering a culture of accountability that champions prioritisation, speed, data & agility, & long-term focus
• Proven analytical & quantitative skills; deep fluency with complex analysis, ability to generate actionable insight & narratives, & able to scope analysis for others which drive action
• Track record accountability over strategic, cross-functional programs & topics in an ambitious commercial team
• You thrive in an egoless environment & are willing to get hands on & drive high impact programs, leveraging cross-functional teams
• Outstanding written & verbal communication with a proven ability to lead effective meetings at exec level

Location: The HelloFresh Farm, 60 Worship Street, EC2A 2EZ, London

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - hybrid 50/50 remote working
