As a Head of Marketing & Distribution, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to building a new vertical at BlaBlaCar, while maintaining & growing our market share on carpooling vertical.

Your mission is to define the local marketing & distributionstrategy in order to increase our member community in Germany. In this role you are attached to the Country Manager, & you will work closely with the VP Marketing & her teams.

As such, the role requires a high reactivity, strong communication, & analytical skills.

We are looking for someone who has the grit & motivation to join the entrepreneurial adventure.

What you will directly contribute to

  • Owning local marketing strategy & budget

  • Defining marketing plans development

  • Budget management & spend optimization

  • Ensuring channels strategy, local media buy & negotiation with local OTAs

  • Setting up & expanding offline distribution of coach tickets Germany

  • Managing an online & offline team

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of proven marketing experience, both online & offline, ideally in a high-growth environment

  • Strategic ability that ensures projects deliver against business objectives

  • Proven ability to successfully develop & execute major multi-channel marketing campaigns

  • Very strong data & analytical skills

  • Proven experience in team management

  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills

  • Proactive, hard-working & solutions-oriented

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Native level of German, fluent in English
