ATTN: is a media company that breaks down important societal topics & conversations into digestible, entertaining videos & series across all platforms. We are leaders when it comes to reaching people who want context on the issues & conversations that matter to them.

What You'll Do:

This role distributes content primarily on TikTok for brand partners & engages in social conversations. In this role, you have ownership for developing & executing community management strategy for select ATTN: TikTok Creative Studio projects.  You stay abreast of social trends & play a critical role in helping inform content decisions & increasing brand awareness of ATTN: TikTok Creative Studio projects, talent, & initiatives. Youll report to the Senior Strategist, Special Projects.

This is a one year contract for 2022. 

Community Strategy (50%)

  • Create & maintain TikTok Community Management Guidelines document for brand partners
  • Comment moderation (removing hate speech or other highly inappropriate comments not captured by TikTok's filters & adding new blocked words to the comment filter)
  • Comment engagement with likes & replies on brand partner TikTok posts 
  • Monitoring brand partner TikTok mentions & relevant hashtags for reactive content opportunities & escalating to creative team
  • Monitoring brand partner TikTok DM inbox for collaboration opportunities & escalating to creative team
  • Escalate high risk customer service inquiries to appropriate brand partner POCs
  • Flex community management capabilities to other social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube) as assigned
  • Interim publishing for select TikTok brand partners 

Social Strategy (40%)

  • Stay abreast of popular TikTok creators, original sounds, memes & trends & distribute weekly newsletter
  • Participate in regular creative team brainstorming sessions 
  • Develop overall Editorial Calendar that can be drawn on by various brand partners
  • Contribute to the development & implementation of ATTN: TikTok Creative Studios overall creative & brand strategy through master strategy documents & templates (including music/trending sounds, influencer strategy, new features, etc.)
  • Track audience analytics, social media trends, key engagement metrics
  • Be a trusted expert on the state of the industry, proactively delivering insights on relevant topics to team members & clients, specific to the TikTok audience
  • Continuously develop & improve procedures that will lead to more strategic/insightful plans and/or workflow improvements
  • Collaborate with Accounts & Insights on case studies for campaigns, trends, or overall partnerships related to TikTok

Special Projects (10%) 

  • Spearhead select special projects including project management, strategy, & talent & partner communications with brands, platforms & organizations, as assigned 
  • Track & communicate key operational & strategic learnings from projects with wider team & support the implementation of new practices informed by the learnings 
  • Support social media content & growth strategy initiatives for the company & other consulting clients, as assigned
  • Seamlessly work alongside departments including project management, client services, brand partnerships, creative, production, originals, talent, audience, legal, & more 

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in developing & implementing social media strategies, developing audiences, & executing communications
  • Must possess demonstrated success at growing & engaging social media audiences
  • Excel at writing content for a variety of social platforms including IG, Facebook, YouTube & TikTok
  • Ability to anticipate messaging needs, be proactive & meet fast deadlines
  • Ability to understand cultural issues & explain them verbally & in writing across different styles (e.g., blog post, website, social media, etc.)
  • Able to identify audience specific trends, threats, & opportunities on social platforms
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • Passion for great storytelling that is relates to GenZ & Millennial audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required, & the ability to effectively interact with individuals across all levels, backgrounds, lived experiences, & perspectives
  • Strong understanding of key performance drivers & ability to execute against findings
