Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Network Coordinator to join our Network team.

About the role

The Network Coordinator supports membership growth & management. This is done by supporting the execution of the local network strategy & ensuring providers across our service area have the information & support the need to provide the best member care & guide quality outcomes.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Network Contracting.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

You must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $27.31 - $35.84 per hour. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $24.58 - $32.26 per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits, monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and/or execution of a network construction & support plan for a market or state with support from your manager.
  • Meet defined metrics & SLAs including but not limited to provider issue resolution and/or contract completion
  • Support overall contracting negotiations including data entry, research, provider outreach, and/or other administrative tasks
  • Working with senior network specialists & management, support the Identification, sourcing, and/or contracting efforts with providers in a region
  • Document & share provider feedback, objections & questions to support the continuous improvement of templates & processes.
  • Assist with regular reporting on network adequacy, construction, & improvement as required by management or Compliance.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of work experience in finance, performance management, operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with Word, Excel, & Powerpoint (or Google suite equivalent).
  • 1+ years of experience in a client facing or customer support capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 1+ years of experience in a healthcare field.
  • Experience in a customer support/customer service role.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, specifically with ancillaries, facilities, specialty providers, & physician groups.
  • Must live in either Eastern or Central timezone.
