The role

As a Content Creator & Copywriter you will be part of the Global Brand team based in our Berlin studio in Moabit, working within our newly created content studio to ideate, conceptualize, & write social-first video content for our advertising & communication needs.  We seek an individual well versed in the creation of short-form social media video content a digital native who can help conceptualize video ideas & then bring them to life through copywriting. The ideal candidate can write voiceovers, supers, captions, metadata, dialogue, & storyboards in a quick & scrappy fashion based on performance data, creating videos with the tone, wording, & impact to be thumb-stopping on all social media platforms. 

This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Content Strategy.

What youll do

• Be part of the conceptual core of the content studio, bringing fresh & unique ideas to the table for compelling short-form content across all HelloFresh Group brands (especially HelloFresh & Factor).
• Experiment with different forms of video content using data & performance insights to produce iterations & new content on a weekly basis.
• Co-create storyboards for all video-based content & executions.
• Develop video content into stand-alone static assets for social media & digital ads
• Write bold & dynamic scripts, supers, captions, metadata, dialogue, hashtags, & any other text needed to ensure assets are attention-grabbing while delivering a clear message.
• Organize all copy in a format that can be easily translated from English to any language. 
• Provide narrative, editorial, & script direction, as well as hands-on copywriting to all video projects.
• Advise on preproduction, production, & post-production phases of content production to ensure narrative & strategic integrity.
• Oversee brand governance & ensure that all assets meet brand standards.
• Participate in the quality assurance of all assets produced by the studio.

What youll bring

• A strong copywriting portfolio of compelling videos & static ads that employ UGC & social media tactics.
• Excellent, native-level English skills
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok), including knowledge of current trends, tech developments, & best practices 
• Experience working with international brands.
• Demonstrated 4+ years of experience creating social media videos & static ads.  
• Knowledge of Google Suite. Knowledge of video-creation platforms (ex.: Premiere) & content management tools (ex. Smartly, Celtra) are a big plus.
• Solid understanding of video production & workflow.
• Great attention to detail, as well as critical & analytical thinking. 
• Strong collaboration & communication skills, including empathy & active listening skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders & operate in an international environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set & maintain processes & structures.
