We are seeking an analytical & research-oriented professional to join the marketing organization in the role of Analyst Relations Manager. This person will play a critical, cross-functional role by working with subject matter experts at many different levels of the organization. You will interact with people in Appian to build & nurture strong internal relationships that will be leveraged to engage with leading analyst firms, participate in vendor evaluations/RFIs, brief analysts about Appians product offerings & go-to-market strategies, & work with the influencers to elevate Appians story.
To be successful in this role, you need :
The ability to develop, manage & execute the Analyst Relations plan & objectives across markets that Appian participates in. Evangelize the most influential industry analysts who work with existing or prospective Appian customers.
To be able to Influence analyst research on Appian & the markets in which Appian competes.
To own Appians participation in market evaluations such as Magic Quadrants, Waves, Market Guides, etc., in coordination with key stakeholders to improve Appians ranking in these influential reports.
Monitor the market landscape & strategic developments in coordination with the market intelligence team.
The ability to identify paid strategic research material from key analyst firms in coordination with the marketing team.
Travel up to 25% (post-pandemic) to meet in person with key global analysts & influencers, attending key events.
BA/BS degree required.
4+ years of diverse work experience in more than one functional area such as: analyst relations, media relations, sales, sales engineering, or business development in the enterprise software industry.
Ability to understand technical concepts around the Appian platform, through direct evaluation of Appians product offerings & architecture.
