The Role:
The Business Analytics & Insights is a newly created function that equips Mozilla with data-driven decision-making capabilities, ensuring strategies are grounded in factual insights. By identifying market trends & customer behaviors, it allows for proactive strategy adjustments & resource optimization. Through performance monitoring & competitive analysis, this function ensures that strategic plans remain agile, relevant, & aligned with both market realities & organizational goals.
A Business Analytics, Insights & Reporting function is pivotal for data-informed decisions, strategic planning, optimizing business operations, & ensuring alignment with our strategic vision. Data Science & Engineering are a separate but collaborative organization, to ensure efficiency, scalability, & agility in our overall data operations.
What you'll do:
- Develop & maintain product growth models to forecast & optimize company revenue streams based on a data-constrained environment (i.e. using external as well as internal info & reliable proxies).
- Create product growth models across a multi-product environment, & recommend strategies to drive product adoption & expansion.
- Analyze product performance & market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven decisions for revenue & product growth.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product growth/revenue modeling & growth analytics.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis & data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).
- Demonstrated experience in cross-company collaboration, working with sophisticated data sets, limited data & driving products & the company forward from a business perspective.
- Strong communication & presentation skills; translating data into valuable business insights.
- Experience running & analyzing A/B tests.
- Excellent quantitative & qualitative skills, you are able to break down highly complex problems involving large amounts of data.
- Strong storytelling skills & ability to tailor data & insights to different audiences.
- Strong project management capabilities & ability to drive multiple work streams of varying complexity.
