POSITION OVERVIEW

DoubleVerify seeks a talented & resourceful Sales Leader for the South East Asia territory to lead our sales team from Singapore. This unique individuals primary responsibility will be to serve as the leader of the SEA Sales & Account Management Teams while also establishing, maintaining & enhancing our relationships with senior stakeholders across the largest brands, agencies & trading desks in the region. 

We are looking for a team player that takes initiative, has an entrepreneurial spirit, & knows how to create partnerships & sophisticated agreements that last. This senior leader is someone who has experience evangelizing products, negotiating commercial agreements, managing/coaching a sales team as well as managing a highly technical Account Management team to ensure operational delivery for our clients. 

This is an opportunity to lead a hyper-growth division of a leading technology company that is transforming the online media industry.

Candidates must have encyclopedic knowledge of marketing & the advertising technology industry, & the ability to deeply understand client requirements & the tenacity to stay motivated through complex & sometimes long sales cycles. 

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals; 

  • Hit or exceed these revenue goals.

  • Understand & effectively communicate Scibids value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as relate to growth of current & prospective client accounts

  • Plan, direct, & coordinate sales activities for DV & self-sourced pipeline opportunities, including activation of key support teams to address client needs & win new business

  • Formulate initial account plan, & successful onboarding process on the basis of a deep understanding of the client business

  • Accurately develop, & update new business pipeline 

  • Precisely forecast Revenue for global reporting

  • Develop & maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior & mid-management levels

  • Proactively brainstorm with the senior stakeholders at the client, to design custom-solutions that will serve their needs in the coming 2 3 years, to truly differentiate themselves from the rest of their peers

  • Develop & expand agency partnerships with rigorous & detailed attention to client needs, development of case studies for purpose of heralding agency-client wins & for up-selling within agency 

  • Attend industry events & speak as a representative of DoubleVerify to the larger digital marketing industry

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the industry & of the biddable media marketplace past, present, & future. Initiate learning agendas at existing clients.

  • Extensive travel within the SEA region can be expected for the person in this role, along with annual or bi-annual travel to DV offices in the USA.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of a global team, you may be required to be available for calls with other offices (Sales Leads in a different region, Solution Consultants, Product & Engineering teams based in Paris, Legal in New York, etc) whenever you have a client requirement that needs deep coordination. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. DV retains the right to change job duties at any time.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be comfortable communicating internally & externally in English

  • Stellar sales performance through resourceful execution

  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics, how they operate & how/what campaign buying & planning entails

  • Must have extensive contacts at top Agencies & Advertisers & have a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams & planning cycles

  • Must show accountability/ownership through every stage of the client relationship

  • Must have experience creating partnerships based on value

  • Strong knowledge of online marketing techniques & technologies (platforms, DSPs, exchanges, etc.)

  • Proven ability to manage sellers pipelines & accurately forecast revenue

  • Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to analyze & articulate data into a sales proposition a plus

  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure market needs are met

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, both in-person & over the phone

  • Bachelors, or Masters degree preferred

  • Ability to speak additional languages (beyond English) is strongly preferred

  • 12+ years experience in internet media/technology sales

  • Proficient in MS Office & Salesforce
