The role

As a Senior Digital Tracking Specialist, you lead the collection of front end user behavioural data across 18+ countries. As an expert in the field, you work with stakeholders across HelloFresh advocating best practices & delivering enhancements to our digital tracking infrastructure that drive our digital tracking capability to the next level.

What youll do

• Take on technical leadership over user behavioural data collection in 18+ countries (web + app)
• Design & implement digital analytics solutions using our Google-based stack, taking into account evolving privacy legislation & technical developments
• Develop & maintain custom tracking scripts (mostly server-side), using JavaScript or other programming languages, for multiple marketing vendors (Facebook CAPI, Google Ads, etc)
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across HelloFresh including developers, marketers & users of behavioural data, contributing to a rich data-driven culture by ensuring tracking is reliable & efficient
• Quickly troubleshoot & debug tracking issues to ensure that our data is accurate & complete
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital analytics, privacy, browser restrictions & web development

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) & other tag management systems
• Extensive experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar tools
• Solid coding skills in JavaScript or other programming languages
• Experience with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler
• Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical & analytical briefs, & present your findings in a clear & precise way
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams, having developed ideas to bring together brand goals & tailor objectives to consumer needs
• Strong analytical skills to ensure collected data is accurate, reliable & suitable for their intended purpose
