WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

Box's security, compliance and privacy posture is a business enabler for customers & a competitive differentiator in the market. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Policies & Standards, to transform and maintain our companywide policy program & lead the strategy & execution of our cross-functional Management Review. You will also collaborate across Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) and the company to streamline & optimize processes & tooling.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Lead strategy & be responsible for execution of the companywide Policy Program
  • Drive, scale & optimize our cross-functional Management Review
  • Work with GRC leadership & other stakeholders to develop & enhance ways to identify, prioritize & address non-conformance to company policies & standards
  • Work hard, learn a lot, & have fun! 

WHO YOU ARE 

  • BS degree in Business or Management Information Systems or related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in an equivalent GRC function
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC, ISO 27001, & NIST 800-53. Certifications such as CISM, CRISC, & CCSP are a plus but not required
  • Strong desire to learn more & to get stuff done
  • Like to have fun. Strong integrity. Make Mom proud!
  • Box lives its values, with community & in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
