DoubleVerifys Business Development team is chartered to ensure DoubleVerifys services are distributed & available wherever our customers conduct business. As a senior leader of DVs Global Business Development team you will be tasked with representing DV to the ad-supported platform & publisher community in Japan. You will be responsible for forging relationships with the digital media supply marketplace - ad platforms, publishers, broadcasters - with the goal of securing partnerships that enable & drive usage of DV solutions across the marketplace. You will have the responsibility to own the lifecycle of a partnership, from identifying the opportunity to establishing the initial contact through
negotiating contracts & launching the integration, as necessary. You will have the unique opportunity to work with the leaders in social media, broadcast TV, radio, mobile, adtech & more with the goal of driving distribution of DV solutions & expansion of revenue-generating deals for our company.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Create market assessment of BD opportunities, identifying advertiser needs, DV Product needs, market trends, & revenue opportunity.
Fluent in Japanese & English
Work with EVP, Business Development & Country Manager, Japan to prioritize efforts aimed to support Company plan.
Build, maintain & execute strategic plan that prioritizes partner opportunities across key
channels in Japan based on Company needs & objectives
Consistently deliver results that meet the strategic plan requirements & Company needs
Cultivate strong relationships with influential counterparts at current & prospective partner
companies in the DSP, Publisher, Social Media, Broadcast TV, Radio, Gaming & Mobile
Evangelize DoubleVerifys value propositions, best practices & perspectives to our partners
and our industry peers, including attending key industry events across the region & participating in panel/speaking engagements.
Recruit, train & develop talent
Collaborate with DV Product team, understanding technical requirements & providing market
feedback to improve product offering
7+ years experience in a business development, partnerships or technical sales capacity
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
Proven leadership in every aspect
Demonstrable experience in evaluating & executing business opportunities, providing strategic
guidance and/or closing complex transactions
Experience building & scaling digital media businesses in the Japan marketplace
Strong management of Excel
