Area Manager, Return to Inventory
Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking an Area Manager, Return to Inventory Supervisor to monitor & report on the companys inventory. A successful inventory supervisor is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail & a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
You will...
- Understanding the process of the RTI area & coaching team members
- Lead & Manage different teams in the RTI area to achieve results & follow the SOPs guidelines
- Communicating via email, slack, & all other departments to ensure we are delivering accurate inventory numbers.
- Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state & federal OSHA standards.
- Control the staging & organization of the materials in the Return to Inventory (RTI) cooler. This includes ensuring FIFO is followed, accurate counts, food storage standards are maintained, & correct Blends are being used.
- Be responsible for day-to-day entry & data integrity of production batches & inventory adjustments as well as miscellaneous associated reporting.
- Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal & external customers.
- Examine operational documentation, inventory activity, & physical materials to ensure accuracy of information provided. Cycle count & correct inventory as required.
- Coordinate & manage the location of staged inventory. Assist in the physical movement to/from staging locations when needed to ensure the utmost efficiency.
- Checking team members in & following the daily roster to ensure all team members are accountable
- Managing a team of 30+ team members
You are
- Able to focus in a team-oriented & fast-paced environment
- Flexible with schedules & varying hours
- Professional, with the ability to properly communicate with clients and Factor_ employees
- Able to, with or without reasonable accommodation, frequently squat, kneel, bend, climb ladders & reach, as well as stand for up to 10-12 hours
- Able to to lift 50-70 lbs
- Able to adhere to safety practices & programs
- Able to operate equipment such as forklifts
At a minimum, you have
- Proven experience in inventory or similar position
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis & forecasting methods
- Working knowledge of inventory management software Is a plus
- Ability to accurately track inventory & create reports
- An analytical mind with strong math skills
- Excellent organizational & planning skills
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal abilities
